I love stop motion anination and I love 3D based work. So obviously the second I discovered this I fell in live with Johnny Kelly. I had to look at the rest of the work he had undertaken and found something else of his that I loved.
This is a paper illustration commisioned by Don't Panic. It was distributed as an A2 poster inside their flyer packs and it was photographed by Linda Brownlee. Everything about the design appeals to me, from the use of vivid colours to the absolute precision obviously needed to create such amazing paper craft. The idea is also inspirational and something that I would one day hope to be on par with. Pictures of the project in development are below.
